an external venue (for multiple medicals only)       $100 (by arrangement only)

 

Payment on the day by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or Visa and Mastercard only.

 

 


The new CASA MRS system is now operational so you must logon to CASA and initiate your medical online,complete the questionnaire and pay CASA's fee BEFORE you attend for your physical examination.

Please allow at least 1 hour for the examination.

Please note too that there is a $100, non-refundable non-negotiable, penalty for no show or cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment date.

Services provided.

Medical examination, urine testing and ecg. Referral for futher tests can be arranged elsewhere (at futher cost).

 

Investigations ordered by your DAME do not attract a Medicare benefit. This may not be the case if your own doctor orders the investigation. It depends if the test is necessary for your general health as opposed to merely one required by CASA. Your DAME is not your treating doctor. You should discuss any tests ordered with your own doctor if you wish to involve Medicare. If your own doctor orders tests please ask that they be copied directly to your DAME.

Appointment Checklist.

 

  • Current aviation licence including ARN.

  • Driver Licence.

  • Your back up glasses if your wear contacts or spectacles (your vision will be tested with these as well).

  • Usual doctor's contact details.
